According to rumors, HTC will unveil two new Windows Phone devices September 1 but no Android handsets.
The beginning of the invite reads, "It's been a while since we last met, so we thought that we'd invite you to come party--and most importantly see what's next." Of course, it's the "what's next" part that intrigues us the most, and according to the latest report, HTC is preparing to service up two fresh Windows Phone Mango handsets.
According to Boy Genius Report, the two models will be the HTC Eternity and the HTC Omega. Details are pretty scarce at this point, but it's said that the Eternity will feature a 3.7-inch display, and the Omega will boast a 4.5-inch touch screen. Also, though these events are being held in Europe, the phones are rumored to be US bound, with the Eternity heading to AT&T and the Omega going to T-Mobile.
A request for comment from HTC was not returned at the time of this writing. We should also note that the IFA consumer electronics show is happening that week in Berlin, and we may hear more about the phones there, so stay tuned.
